ABC7 featured Guadalupe Center and Guadalupe Resale Shop in a Positively SWFL segment spotlighting the Tutor Corps Program.
Each summer, just before Tutor Corps graduates head off to college, students are given an opportunity to go shopping at Guadalupe Resale Shop in North Naples. Students can choose 10 clothing items priced up to $40 each, all at no cost.
Through generous support from donors, many graduates have received scholarships to attend colleges in the North and Midwest. While Tutor Corps prepares students for the academic rigors of higher education, the shopping trip helps students prepare for winter by stocking up on long-sleeved shirts, jeans, sweaters, coats and accessories for cold weather.
