Guadalupe Center is creating a cycle of prosperity through education for students and families in Immokalee, Florida through highly successful programs – the nationally accredited Early Childhood Education Program, After-school Tutoring & Summer Enrichment Program, middle school success program Tutor Corps RISE, and college-preparatory Tutor Corps Program.
For the children of Immokalee, education is their way out of poverty, and Guadalupe Center is their vehicle.
The Center offers one of the few NAEYC-accredited Early Childhood Education Program in Collier County, an After-school Tutoring & Summer Enrichment Program for students K-2, and a college-preparatory Tutor Corps Program. Combined, the three core programs serve more than 2,000 students annually.
Guadalupe Center’s results are outstanding. More than 95% of our pre-K graduates enter school having met or exceeded Florida’s
kindergarten readiness standards and 100% of students in the After-school Program show academic gains in reading and math.
An astounding 100% of Tutor Corps seniors graduate high school and are accepted into college. Most importantly, 98% of our Tutor Corps students graduate from college, compared to the national average for minority students of less than 20%. Our Tutor Corps alumni are now gainfully employed as educators, health care specialists, engineers, public service workers and business leaders. Several have been accepted into prestigious medical and graduate schools.

Early Childhood Education
Guadalupe Center is setting students up for success from infancy to age 5 with a fully accredited high-quality Early Childhood Education Program in Immokalee, Florida. Our generous donors enable us to use a sliding-scale for tuition based on a family’s ability to pay. On average, families pay $50 per week in year-round tuition.
After-school Tutoring
The After-school Tutoring & Summer Enrichment Program is an imperative intervention for the K-2 students who score below grade-level on County assessments. This program provides the extra attention and support these students need to reach the academic milestones required for success in school.
Tutor Corps RISE
Tutor Corps middle school success program. Standing for Resilience, Inspiration, Support, and Empowerment, RISE aims to address the critical transitional period of middle school by building character, confidence, and self-esteem. The program is designed to prepare students for high school and beyond, making postsecondary education an attainable goal for students in Immokalee.

Students come to Guadalupe Center with the ability and aptitude to achieve. Tutor Corps opens the door to the educational opportunities they need to realize their full potential. It all starts in high school, setting students on a trajectory for success by preparing them for significant life transitions.
