Smart Start is a free weekly parent-and-child early learning program for families with children ages 1 to 4 who are not enrolled in full-time child care. Offered in both English and Spanish, the program gives parents and caregivers the opportunity to learn alongside their children while preparing them for kindergarten.

Together, families participate in hands-on activities, story time, songs, and play-based learning that build early language, literacy, social-emotional, and school readiness skills. Parents and caregivers also learn simple, practical ways to continue learning at home, helping them become their child’s first and most important teacher.

Smart Start is designed to help children enter school ready to learn while giving families the confidence and tools to support their child’s development every step of the way.

Monday: Immokalee Fair Housing Alliance
Tuesday & Thursday: Farm Workers Village
Wednesday: van Otterloo Family Campus for Learning
Friday: Immokalee Branch Library
